The Wolf or Humility Teaching 

The wolf is one of the seven sacred teachings. It represents humility and teaches us to work together as a family or team. To put others before ourselves and to share as a lone wolf will not survive. This picture has six wolves hidden throughout the body to represent a family or pack working together. There are other (Raven, fish, geese) animal images throughout the body.

Northern Wolf

This picture was inspired by the dominance of the wolf and how it howls to the moon and speaks to the ancestors in the northern lights. The artist was inspired to paint this as he had seen the moon surrounded by northern lights which was rare. The wolf is silhouetted against the backdrop of the moon and northern lights of Canada. The wolf is a dominant species that hunts the mighty moose and caribou in packs. There are many different shades of blues and much detail in the body of the wolf. It comes either as an unframed print or professionally framed in black wood with glass and matting.

Winter Calling​

This beautful eagle was painted by Dene artist Michael Fatt from the NWT, Canada. This wolf is set on the background of the northern sunset, howling in the winter.

Northern Lights Wolf

This print was designed by artist Tyler Tobacco, originally from BC. It illustrates the wolf howling to its ancestors in the northern lights. 


It comes in two sizes either framed or unframed in 11x14 or 61x20. He skillfully has mastered the airbrushing technique on canvass. Its a print and not the original.​ 

The Howling

The Howling by Dene artist from Yellowknife, NWT, Canada, John Rombough. He uses a layering of dot colored paints to create this 14+ color piece. In each corner is an ancestor looking down at the wolf under the glowing moon.

This killer whale painting has rich dynamic colors. The killer whale or orca is found along the west coast of N. America and travels in pods. This picture has other marine life painted within the body of the orca. The Killer Whale is one of many west coast First Nations clans.

Honesty Teaching 

The Honesty Teaching is one of the seven sacred teachings and is painted with many dynamic colors and symbolism. This spirit was put on earth to remind man to always be honest to each other and ones self. To not try to imitate others but be content with who we are. There are 14 ravens in this picture as raven does not try to be prettier or faster like other birds but is happy with who he is. The animals are white for purity and are placed beside the spirit as they feel safe with the spirit as the spirit was so honest.

Northern Nostalgia

This picture was inspired by the artist who at the time longed to return to his homeland of the NWT. He was nostalgic and envious of the strength of the mighty moose who resided in their homeland of the far north under the beauty of the dancing northern lights. The moose is silhouetted against the backdrop of a lake, mountains and the northern lights. It comes either as an unframed print or professionally framed in black wood with glass and matting.
